Sectional overhead doors have hinged horizontal panels that lift up and lay parallel with the ceiling of the garage when open, and do not protrude into the driveway or street at any time.

The Panelift has been developed with the benefit of B&D’s nearly 50 years of garage door technology experience and has a series of unique safety features making it ideal for homeowners who are concerned about their young children’s safety.

               
These include B&D’s unique, patented, Pinchfree™ hinging system that virtually eliminates the chance of finger entrapment between panels.

Safety has also been considered with the use of rolled-over steel on the internal horizontal panel edges - eliminating raw cut steel that could slice fingers - and the in-line wheels and track which are designed to reduce the chance of finger entrapment on the inside.

As an optional extra a Photo eye beam (safety infra-red) kit provides added safety & security with an inbuilt reversing feature, which returns your door or gate to the open position should it meet any obstruction while closing.

All Panelift doors are custom made to the purchaser’s exact size requirements and are available in widths up to 6.6 metres, and can generally be installed to completely clear the opening, allowing maximum drive-in clearance for a boat, caravan or four wheel drive vehicle.
